In 1971, the only local news was written by Coral Ridge Properties management. Members of the Coral Springs Teen Center took issue with some of stories decided to publish their own paper, The Forum. In the first issue on February 19,1971, they wrote "This newspaper will tell you the good and the bad things that are happening in the city. This is not meant to be a propaganda sheet for you to send to your friends up north to lure them to our beautiful city. This is meant to be a newspaper." |
